Let me tell you just a little bit about myself. I have been an Occupational Therapist for over 20 years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Indiana University. I later finished a Master of Health Science in the OT program at the University of Indianapolis. I have always worked with both the pediatric and adult populations, serving clients in multiple settings.
I worked in a school-based setting for 15 years as and OT and also as the Assistive Technology Coordinator in an Indianapolis area school district, including services to students in a residential facility. I have served students throughout the special education continuum, from general education settings to self-contained classrooms to separate schools. I have been able to speak in local and national conferences, as well as guest lecture at several universities.
I love seeing people reach their potential and chase their dreams. In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband, Blake, dog Jack, and of course my 5 children. We love to travel the world and visit theme parks along the way too! We (for the most part) are an entire family of thrill seekers.
